Beloved soul,
In the Akashic Records, everything is held in love. Every joy, every wound, every desire, and every moment you’ve wished you could erase—it’s all recorded in the great field of your soul with compassion, not judgment.
That includes your shadow.
What we often call the “shadow self” is not a flaw or failure—it is a sacred fragment of you, wrapped in fear, waiting to be welcomed home.
The Records have shown me that our shadow aspects are not here to sabotage us. They are soul teachers. They are the guardians of ancient pain and unmet needs, often carried over from past lifetimes or ancestral lines. And until they are acknowledged, they will keep whispering through our reactions, our fears, our patterns, and our resistance to love.
But here's the beauty:
The Akasha does not shame the shadow.
It invites it into the light.
And in doing so, it transforms it.
When I’ve entered the Records with clients who are struggling with deep shame, anger, jealousy, or grief, I often receive images of them as small children—or as souls in previous incarnations—facing experiences too overwhelming to process. In that moment of overwhelm, a part of them split off, went into hiding, and began guarding itself fiercely.
Shadow work, through the Akashic lens, is a soul retrieval.
It’s the process of becoming whole again.
The Records don’t say, “Fix this.” They say, “Love this.”
They remind us: You are not broken. You are remembering.
So today, I offer you this:
Close your eyes. Place your hand on your heart.
Whisper inward: “What part of me have I disowned?”
Then Listen. Feel. Let it speak.
“I see you. I’m not turning away. You are safe with me now.”
This is where healing begins.
This is where soul integration happens.
And this… is where the light meets the dark and becomes whole.
From my heart to yours,
Joanna
